Niko

Hi there! I'm Niko, a 3.5-year-old, 72lb bundle of black Labrador Retriever mix joy. I'm a big fan of water and exploring, and I'm looking for a loving family to call my own. I was rescued from a tough situation and am incredibly grateful for my foster family. I'm an affectionate snuggler with my people and well-behaved when left alone. I'd love to go on adventures like hiking or camping!

Ideal Home

I would thrive in a home with a nice fenced yard where I can explore to my heart's content and relax in the sunshine. I get a bit nervous in crowded public places like stores, so I'd prefer places with fewer people, like a big park. I do not do well with cats, so a cat-free home is a must!

Ongoing Health

All my core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies) are up to date, and I've been spayed/neutered and microchipped.

Training & Support

I'm generally well-behaved, but I can get a little too excited around cats. I'm not very food motivated, which is surprising for a Lab! I love to explore, so nose work or other enrichment activities would be great for me.

• Our adoption fee is $550, which includes all core vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, and transportation.
• Due to the volume of requests, applications are processed in the order they are received. Your spot in line is reserved once your completed application is returned.

Transporation

I'm currently in South Texas and can be transported to my new home in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and other states on the East and West Coast.
