Roxy

Roxy is an adorable, 10-month-old, 7lb Chihuahua mix who is expected to stay a wonderfully portable size of around 7-9 lbs full grown. She was rescued from a high-kill shelter in rural Texas after her owner moved and dumped her. Roxy was understandably a bit confused at the shelter, but she is now settling into her foster home beautifully! She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is in a foster home with two others. Roxy enjoys playtime and simply hanging out with her dog buddies.

Ideal Home

Roxy would enjoy having a playful dog companion in her forever home, though she would also be happy soaking up all the attention as your one and only. We'd like to place Roxy in a home where she'll get consistent stimulation, exercise, and love.

Ongoing Health

Roxy is up to date on her vaccinations, has been fully vetted, is healthy, heartworm negative, and is spayed.

Training & Support

A (virtual or in-person) positive reinforcement training class promotes great behavior, bonding, and confidence. Training is so important for the future behaviors of every dog. It's for this reason that we're unwilling to adopt to a family that doesn't make this loving choice.
