About Tucker

Tucker is a sweet Beagle who is up-to-date on vaccines and neutered. He is initially very fearful of humans and will try to escape if a guest approaches, but with patience and time, he blossoms into an extremely loving and snuggly companion. Tucker adores other animals and gets along wonderfully with them. He is also fearful of loud noises and sudden movements. He walks well on a collar or harness. Due to his nervous habits, Tucker should not be given plush toys or regular potty pads, as he may shred and ingest them. We believe he will outgrow this behavior as he becomes more comfortable in his environment.

Ideal Home

Tucker would thrive in a home that understands his need for a slow introduction to new people and situations. He needs a quiet environment, free from sudden noises and movements, where he can feel secure and build trust at his own pace.

Ongoing Health

Tucker is up-to-date on vaccines and is neutered.

Training & Support

Tucker is fearful of humans, noises, and sudden movements. He needs a patient adopter who can help him build confidence. He also has a nervous habit of shredding and eating plush toys and potty pads, so these should be kept away from him. We anticipate this will improve as he becomes more comfortable.
