Matt is an 8-year-old gentleman with a heart of gold! He may not be the most striking pup on the block, but his personality shines brighter than any beauty contest winner. Matt has overcome a serious head injury and the loss of an ear, yet he has never lost his zest for life or his love for people. He's a big boy, weighing in at just over 70 pounds, but he's incredibly gentle and possesses an old soul. Matt was found wandering in a park, picked up by animal control, and was sadly facing euthanasia before a hero stepped in. Now, he's looking for a loving home to spend the rest of his days. You can find Matt by your feet, relaxing, snuggling in your bed, or joyfully rolling on his back in the grass, which he absolutely adores!

Matt would love a home where he can be your constant companion. He enjoys relaxing at your feet, cuddling, and simply being near his people.

Ongoing Health

Matt has a history of a head injury and has lost an ear. He is a large breed dog, over 70 pounds. He is up to date on vaccinations and is neutered.

Training & Support

Matt is house-trained and known to be gentle and affectionate. He enjoys basic commands and interacting with other dogs.
