Polly - URGENT

Polly is an 11-week-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who is in urgent need of a loving home. She is currently at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter and is at high risk due to an upper respiratory infection. Polly needs a safe and quiet place to recover as soon as possible.

Ideal Home

Polly needs a home where she can rest and heal. She is currently at a shelter with over 300 other dogs, so a calmer environment would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Polly is being treated for an upper respiratory infection. She will need ongoing care to ensure a full recovery.

Training & Support

Polly is not yet house-trained. As a young puppy, she will benefit from consistent training and positive reinforcement.

Transporation

Polly is currently located at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter. Companion Animal Protection Society (CAPS) can arrange transportation for adopters on the West Coast, but adopters will be responsible for transport fees.
