Russ

Hi there! My name is Russ, and I'm a playful pup about 3-4 months old. My foster family calls me Russet or Russell, but my favorite name is "Good Boy!" I'm a mixed breed, believed to be a lab, catahoula, and plott mix.

I've had the pleasure of meeting several dogs in my foster home, from tiny pups to bigger pals who have taught me how to be the best puppy. I love using a dog door and am a big fan of cozying up under the blankets on the couch with my favorite humans. My favorite activity is being close to you, but I also really enjoy playing with other dogs. My foster mom thinks I'd do great in a home with canine companions. I'm a quick learner and very motivated by attention. I already know "sit," "wait" (especially for my food!), and "easy," which helps me soften my mouth when playing. I can't wait to explore the great outdoors, and I might just be your next hiking buddy!

I will be neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines, deworming, and flea/tick/heartworm prevention before I go to my forever home.

Training & Support

I'm working on my puppy manners, like using my mouth gently during play. The word "Easy" is really helping me to learn!
