Jacy is a devoted little soul who is searching for a home where he can be your one and only. This sweet boy's world revolves around his people, and he loves deeply and wholeheartedly. Once he forms a bond, he becomes a loyal shadow, happily following you from room to room – yes, even the bathroom! Jacy is incredibly affectionate and happiest when being held or carried close to his person. He enjoys companionship, rides along on outings, and being part of whatever you’re doing. He's more of a "carry me everywhere, Netflix and chill" sort of guy. Jacy also has a particular fondness for men.

Ideal Home

Jacy is a one-dog sort of man and prefers to keep his special connection all to himself. He is not a fan of puppies or other dogs, as they get in the way of his lap time. While he might be okay with cats, he really wants to be the only pet in your home, as anyone who fights for your attention is competition. Jacy can be vocal when left alone, so homes with shared walls might not be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Jacy has a 4/6 heart murmur and will need to take medication daily. He is currently on Vetmedin (also known as pimobenden) 1.25 mg twice per day. The estimated cost for his medication is approximately $2.10-$2.74 per day. Because of his heart condition, Jacy isn't up for marathons or long walks. A stroller could be a cool addition for outings!

Training & Support

Jacy thrives on companionship and being the center of attention. He will need a home that is comfortable with and committed to his ongoing medical care.

Transporation

Jacy is currently located at Dreamweaver Farms in Pacolet, SC. Please ensure you are comfortable traveling to meet him, as dogs can’t drive themselves and we can’t always provide transportation.
