Grace Hargraves

Grace is a beautiful, sturdy, and incredibly smart 3-year-old girl. Her perky ears are like little bat wings, and she loves a good scratch! Grace has a lot of energy, but she's happy to nap most of the day during work hours. She recently gave birth to 10 puppies and was an excellent mom, and now it's her turn to find her forever home! She knows "sit" and "lie down" and is completely potty and crate trained. Grace loves her kennel, often taking naps in it voluntarily, and sleeps there happily every night because it makes her feel safe.

Ideal Home

Grace is working on rolling over, shaking hands, "down," and becoming more zen about seeing squirrels on walks. She is very strong and requires a home that can provide her with undivided attention on walks, especially for the first few outings. She is looking for a home without other children, adults, or pets, as she is most comfortable in a quieter environment. Grace definitely notices changes in her environment and can be sensitive when her people travel for work. She needs a patient family who understands she may have some trauma signs from her past and is working through them. She can have a difficult time when initially meeting men but has shown she can get past this after introductions.

Ongoing Health

Grace is a healthy girl who had 10 puppies.

Training & Support

Grace is working on commands like "roll over," "shake," and "down." She is also learning to be more relaxed around squirrels on walks. She is very strong and will need continued leash training and attention. Grace benefits from a stable routine and can be sensitive to changes in her environment.
