Buzz - AL

Buzz is a handsome 1.5-year-old male Catahoula/Australian Shepherd mix, weighing in at approximately 50lbs. He's a resilient pup who was abandoned and then found himself in a high-kill shelter. Thankfully, he was rescued and has blossomed into a happy-go-lucky sweetheart! He's neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Ideal Home

Buzz would thrive with an active family who enjoys hiking, climbing, and traveling. He's looking for a home with children aged 10 and older. He's not a fan of sharing his personal space or food with other dogs, so a home where he can have his own stash of belongings would be ideal. He does not do well with cats.

Ongoing Health

Buzz is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and is already neutered and microchipped.

Training & Support

Buzz is crate-trained and house-trained. He's working on his greetings, as he tends to bark and sometimes jump when meeting new people and dogs. He also pulls slightly on the leash, but he's learning to walk nicely. He loves treats and toys, and has a lot of energy!

• Once your application is received and reviewed, you will be contacted by one of our volunteers.
• After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.
• If you have no particular dog in mind, we will keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog comes into rescue.

Buzz is currently located in Alabama. Transport may be available to approved adopters.
