This is Chopo, a 5-year-old Pit/Lab mix who weighs approximately 88 pounds. Chopo has been patiently waiting for his forever home for 286 days. Life circumstances led to him losing his previous home, but he has remained a friendly, social, and vibrant dog throughout his time with us. He is house-trained, gets along well with other dogs and children, and has even made some canine pals at the shelter. We encourage a meet-and-greet if you have another dog at home to ensure a smooth transition. Chopo is always ready to offer love, attention, and embark on new adventures. Despite being overlooked, his belief in finding his person remains strong. As a Diamond Dog, his adoption fee is just $75, and the love and companionship he offers are priceless.

Ideal Home

Chopo doesn't need a perfect home, just a loving one that can offer him a second chance. If you have another dog, a meet-and-greet is recommended.

Ongoing Health

Chopo is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his rabies vaccination and basic boosters. He is heartworm positive, but his treatment is fully sponsored by Rockwall PAWS, ensuring he can live a long and healthy life with minimal cost to his adopter.

Transporation

All animals, unless otherwise noted, are located at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm.
