Kuzco

Kuzco, a 6-year-old, 12 lb. bundle of joy, is a lovable and playful sweetheart with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Affectionately known as Koozy, this charming boy is wonderful with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He’ll happily curl up next to pups bigger than him, proving he’s equal parts brave and snuggly. Koozy loves his toys and bones and has the cutest way of asking you to play—he’ll pick them up and toss them at you or even throw them in the air for his own entertainment! Watching him play is guaranteed to make you smile. Koozy is a loving, good-natured dog who just wants to share his happiness with his forever family. He has so much love to give and will make anyone lucky enough to adopt him incredibly happy.

Ongoing Health

Koozy has Diabetes Insipidus Central, a condition where the hypothalamus does not produce enough ADH, leading to increased thirst and urination. He is currently on a low-sodium diet. He also has a past injury to one of his back legs that required surgery, and his other back leg also seems to bother him. He is currently undergoing veterinary checks for these leg issues.

Training & Support

Koozy is a well-behaved and happy boy who loves everyone. When his foster leaves the house, they put a belly band on him just in case of accidents.

Transporation

Koozy is being fostered in Indian Trail, North Carolina. Transportation arrangements can be discussed.
