About Chip - Good with kids, dogs and cats

Chip is a handsome 1.5-year-old Australian Cattle Dog/German Shorthair Pointer/Catahoula Leopard mix, weighing 43 pounds. He was found as a stray in Tennessee and has undergone a right hind leg amputation due to a severe injury. Chip is an intelligent, enthusiastic, and loyal boy who loves to please and be part of the family fun. He enjoys car rides, playing with toys, and lounging with his loved ones. Chip is house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained, with excellent manners around other animals, peacefully ignoring cats and even a parrot. He is a dedicated family watchdog and will alert you to visitors or doorbells. Chip is friendly with children and full of love to give, looking for a family that appreciates his intelligence, loyalty, and affectionate nature. His missing leg is a testament to his determination and zest for life. Chip is currently on antibiotics for heartworm for thirty days.
