Daisy Sue is a 2-year-old, spayed female Pointer/Australian Cattle Dog mix, weighing around 35 pounds. She's a joyful, playful, and sweet girl who was rescued from a euthanasia list after being returned to a shelter. Affectionately nicknamed "Dollop of Daisy," she's a 35-lb bundle of personality ready to bring brightness to your life with her adorable zoomies, cuddles, and happy-go-lucky nature.
Ideal Home
Daisy would thrive in an active home with another friendly dog to play with (strongly preferred). A securely fenced yard for zoomies or daily walks would make her very happy. She'd also do well with children 10 years or older who understand how to interact gently with a shy dog. Due to her sensitive nature, a calm home with a predictable routine is ideal, rather than a busy household with many visitors. She can be left loose in the house when you're away, but be sure to keep shoes put away as she finds them fascinating!
Ongoing Health
Daisy is generally healthy. She is spayed.
Training & Support
Daisy is a smart and well-mannered girl! She is fully house-trained with no accidents, walks beautifully on leash, and is not reactive to dogs, runners, or people. She is also crate-trained and sleeps through the night in her crate. Daisy has no issues with resource guarding and politely shares toys and treats. She is very food motivated, making training even more fun. While she can be shy and bark when first meeting new people, especially men, she warms up with patience, gentle voices, and a little space, revealing her affectionate and cuddly side.
