Mia

Mia is a sweet, playful, and energetic 1 1/2 year old Akita mix who came to us as a stray. She was found by a kind family who took her in for a few days. Mia did wonderfully with their two dogs and was also good with their visiting grandkids. While she did chase cats, she never hurt them. Mia has been a happy girl since arriving at the shelter and is ready for a loving family to call her own. If you're looking for a fantastic walking or running partner with plenty of energy and love to give, Mia is the one for you! You're sure to fall in love when you meet her.

Mia would thrive in an active home where she can be a walking/running partner. She has shown she is good with dogs and children.

Ongoing Health

Mia has been spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Mia chased cats in her previous temporary home, so continued training and supervision around felines will be important.
