About Pup Johnny

Pup Johnny is a handsome 5-month-old Lab/Hound mix weighing around 25 lbs. He was rescued from a crowded shelter in Alabama with his siblings, Jimmy and June, and is now safe and ready to find his loving forever home. Johnny is a friendly, happy-go-lucky boy with soulful eyes and a sweet personality. He loves making new friends, both human and canine, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. At his young age, Johnny is in the perfect stage for training and socialization, and he's eager to learn everything he needs to become an amazing lifelong companion. Whether you're looking for a hiking buddy, a playmate, or a cuddle partner, Johnny is ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and plenty of tail wags.

Ideal Home

Johnny would make a fantastic companion for just about any family. He is eager to become your loyal new best friend!

Ongoing Health

His adoption fee covers basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. The organization will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at their partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse the adopter for up to the amount of their partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.

Training & Support

A refresher in house-training will be required. Enrollment in obedience training is strongly recommended to ensure an easier transition into a new home, to keep the dog well-socialized, and to help form a bond between the dog and the new family.
