Opal

Opal is a sweet girl who loves to snuggle and is great with other dogs! She came to us not spayed and with mammary masses and a mass in her ovaries. We have since spayed her and had her masses removed and biopsied, and all looks good! Her eyes will need to be kept on, but she's ready to find her forever home.

Ideal Home

Opal would likely do well with any family. It would be best if Opal was in a home with no stairs as they are a challenge for her, and she does not like to be picked up.

Ongoing Health

Opal's mammary masses and ovarian mass were removed and biopsied, and all looks good. Her eyes will need to be monitored. She may have some arthritis, which can cause her to get grumpy when picked up.

Training & Support

Opal's fosters have been working with her on managing stairs, and she is improving. Aside from potential grumpiness when picked up due to possible arthritis, she is a sweetie. She does great in a car and loves to travel!
