Meet Walnut, your big, round land tank! Slow moving but powerful, Walnut is a goofy boy with a squirrel-like personality that keeps everyone smiling. At almost 70 pounds of muscle and rolls, this squishy-faced guy is an absolute doll to be around – instant cuddles guaranteed. Walnut loves hanging out with other dogs and enjoys a good burst of playtime with his friends. Despite his tank-like build, he’s just a big softie who wants to be close to his people and soak up all the love he can get.

Ongoing Health
Walnut is 4 years old and is up to date on vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, as well as flea and heartworm prevention. He has also been tested for heartworm and spayed/neutered.
Training & Support
Walnut is a rescue dog and will require continued training efforts and understanding from his new family. The shelter has spent countless hours with him, learning his quirks and personalities, and working on his socialization, leash training, and basic commands.

Walnut is available for transportation in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN & OH at predetermined locations and times. The adoption and transportation fee ranges from $100-500. Private custom transport routes and destinations are available upon request at the adopted family's financial responsibility.
