Meet Louisa, affectionately known as Lady Lou! This young, beautiful black Lab mix is about a year old and has a heart as big as her personality. She's still very much a playful puppy at heart, learning how wonderful life can be after a rough start. Louisa came from a situation where she spent most of her early life kenneled and underweight due to circumstances beyond her control. Since then, she's been given love, stability, and a chance to finally just be a dog, and she is soaking it all in! She is described as very sweet and social, with a joyful, energetic personality. Like many young dogs who are finally out of confinement, she can be playful and may get into toys or try redecorating a doormat now and then, but she's not destructive in a serious way; she's just a typical young dog learning boundaries. If you're looking for a loving, happy, goofy young dog to join your family, Lady Lou might be your girl. Louisa is being rehomed through no fault of her own; her current situation simply isn't the right fit for her energy level.
