Norman is a snuggly four-and-a-half-year-old Labrador Retriever/American Pitbull Terrier mix with a heart as big as his 73-pound frame. He's affectionately known as the "velvet hippo" and is a gentle, goofy soul who lives for cuddles, comfy dog beds, and quality time with his people. Norman is a classic couch potato with a silly streak, often flopping onto his back to flash his most adorable grin. Walks, training games, and belly rubs are his favorite things, and he truly shines when given love and structure. His routine is flexible, and he's happy as long as he has someone to nap near and a little mental stimulation each day. Norman has a bite incident in his history involving a neighbor, which was described as an accident in a specific circumstance and not a reflection of his true nature. He's compatible with older, respectful children and some dogs with slow introductions.
