Aza Lou is a sweet, approximately 5-year-old, 63 lb bundle of love who we believe is a Pittie mix. She's built like a little land seal, with soulful brown eyes and a squishy, huggable body that's more potato with legs than athletic build. Aza Lou is the perfect companion for those who appreciate a slower pace of life. She's not interested in marathons, but she excels at cozy companionship, providing emotional support, and reminding you to slow down and enjoy the simple things. She loves giving forehead kisses and would happily snuggle in your lap if you'd let her, but she's perfectly content just being near you. Occasionally, her silly side emerges, and she'll wiggle on her back like a fish out of water, offering ridiculous upside-down facial expressions that are guaranteed to make you laugh.
Ideal Home
Aza Lou would thrive in a home that appreciates her calm and affectionate nature. She would do best with another dog who shares her laid-back personality, but she is also happy to be the only pet, soaking up all the attention. While she can be picked up to get onto furniture, a home where she has easier access to couches and beds would be a plus.
Ongoing Health
Aza Lou is generally healthy and up-to-date on vetting.
Training & Support
Aza Lou is crate trained, potty trained, and has excellent house manners. She takes treats gently and already knows how to sit and shake, often charmingly offering her paw repeatedly. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys leisurely strolls.
