CJ

Meet CJ, a Great Dane who is the ultimate definition of a "Gentle Giant." He was likely born around late 2024. CJ arrived in our care extremely underweight and suffering from injuries to his legs. Despite the pain he must have been in, his sweetness never wavered. He allowed the vet and our team to provide all necessary medical treatment without a single complaint, proving himself to be an incredibly patient and sweet-natured pup who simply loves being around people. Because of his history as a stray, CJ is currently a bit of a blank slate. He recently met a young child (around 8 years old) and did very well.

Ideal Home

CJ adores humans and did very well with a young child. We haven't yet tested him with other dogs, so he would likely thrive in a home where he is the only dog or where introductions to other dogs can be carefully managed.

Ongoing Health

CJ arrived in our care extremely underweight and suffering from injuries to his legs. He has since received necessary medical treatment and was neutered on 3/17. He will need a dedicated owner who can provide him with high-quality nutrition.

Training & Support

CJ is a bit of a blank slate when it comes to formal training. He will need a dedicated owner who can provide him with structure and guidance.
