Vera is a sweet and resilient young female Husky mix who has truly overcome adversity. On what should have been her first birthday, she was sadly abandoned at a Texas kill shelter due to a treatable medical issue. Despite her fear and pain, her tail still wagged, showing her incredible spirit. Thankfully, she was rescued and has since been treated and is now heartworm negative, spayed, and up to date on all her vaccinations. Vera is now healthy, vibrant, and full of life, eager to find a loving home where she will be cherished forever. She is craving a safe and loving environment where she can finally experience the warmth and security she deserves.
