Betsy

Betsy is a sweet female dog who recently came to us because her previous owner could no longer keep her. While her former owner provided some history, our medical and behavioral teams are still getting to know her. Dogs who have lived in homes before often have some training, but we can't guarantee those behaviors will continue in a new environment. Betsy is currently pending interactions with other animals at the shelter until our vet gives her the all-clear. Our staff is spending time getting to know her, and we'll update her bio with more information as we learn more!

Ideal Home

Betsy will need all household members, including any resident dogs and children, to meet her to ensure a good match.

Ongoing Health

Betsy has been spayed and is up to date on vaccinations. She has also been microchipped and has had fecal and heartworm testing.

Training & Support

We are still learning about Betsy's training and behavior, but we will provide updates as we get to know her better.

• Our adoption process is first-come, best-match. We are unable to hold animals.
• If Betsy isn't the best fit after you meet, our adoption counselors will happily help you find a match!
• We encourage same-day adoptions if a match is made.
• Adoption fees include spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Betsy is located at Humane Animal Partners in Wilmington, DE. We can discuss transportation options with approved adopters.
