Barkley

Meet Barkley! This charming 5-year-old, 15-lb mini poodle is a bundle of curiosity and a lover of the outdoors. Barkley was rescued from a puppy mill and is now eager to experience a wonderful life. He enjoys spending his days exploring and basking in the sun on the back deck. While he's still a bit shy around new people and startling noises, Barkley is a smart and resilient pup who is making great progress. He adores chicken and scrambled eggs, and his crate is his safe haven. He's also doing wonderfully with other dogs in his foster home!

Ideal Home

Barkley would be happiest in a home with a fenced-in yard, providing him a secure space to explore. He also thrives with the companionship of another dog, which will help him continue building his confidence.

Ongoing Health

Barkley is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and dewormed. He has been treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination.

Training & Support

Barkley is crate trained and is making progress on leash and potty training. He is smart and eager to learn, so continued patience and positive reinforcement will go a long way.
