Honey is a gorgeous girl who is sweet and loves attention! Playtime is her favorite time! She knows basic commands and is leash and crate trained. Honey loves her people and loves to cuddle!

Ideal Home

Older (12+ y/o) respectful kids who can handle her energy are advised. Honey would do best as an only dog as she can be dog selective; she has lived with other dogs in the past and it has not worked out well. She currently lives with a cat and is doing well. Honey needs an owner that is knowledgeable about the breed.

Ongoing Health

All rescue dogs are vaccinated, altered, and micro-chipped.

Training & Support

Honey suffers from mild separation anxiety, is a counter surfer, resource guards food and toys, and is reactive to other dogs when walking on leash. She has been attacked by other dogs in the past, which has had a lasting effect. A round or two of positive reinforcement training classes would be most beneficial for Honey in setting her up for success in her new home. A breed-savvy owner is strongly recommended.
