Lita & Ford

Lita and Ford are two 5-year-old St. Bernard mix sisters with hearts of gold and a strong protective instinct! They come from a ranching background, where they bravely guarded their owner's pigs and mini horses. Sadly, their owner passed away, and a year ago, they came to us hoping to continue their guardian duties. They are excellent at their job, keeping uninvited guests (both human and animal) off the property.

However, Lita and Ford were never exposed to dogs or cats and are very aggressive towards them. This is not their fault; they are simply doing what they were trained to do. They have never shown aggression towards the pigs, horses, or humans. They are about 100 lbs each, spayed, and up-to-date on all their vaccinations, with their next ones due in December.

Ideal Home

These sweet girls would thrive in a home without any other dogs or cats. They dream of a place where they can roam freely without any bothersome smaller creatures. A livestock ranch with a coyote problem would be their perfect paradise! They require strong fences to ensure their safety and happiness.

Ongoing Health

Lita and Ford are spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Their next vaccinations are due in December.

Training & Support

Lita and Ford are natural guardians and have proven their loyalty and protective nature. Their only known behavioral challenge is their aggression towards other dogs and cats, stemming from their previous guardian role. They have never shown aggression towards livestock or humans.
