Charlie - Urgent Foster or Adopter

Charlie is a sweet 3-year-old, approximately 60-pound girl who was born into rescue and has lived a cherished life with her family. She was adopted with her sister and for nearly three years, they were inseparable. Unfortunately, sibling syndrome has developed between them, and after exhausting all options, Charlie's family has made the difficult decision that she needs a new home where she can thrive as an only pet. This was a heartbreaking decision for them, as they adore Charlie and she has done nothing wrong. She is not aggressive or a bad dog; she is simply a victim of circumstances beyond her control. Charlie is housebroken, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She is wonderful with people, including children, and while initially shy with new people, she becomes incredibly loving once comfortable. She enjoys toys and bones and is a healthy girl, though she does have food allergies managed with a special diet and Apoquel. Charlie deserves a stable and loving home where she can get the second chance she never expected to need.

Ideal Home

Charlie would be happiest as your one-and-only pet. If you have another dog, a meet-and-greet would be required to determine compatibility.
