Norma Jeane is an 8ish year old, 10lb poodle girl who is as playful and spunky as they come! She certainly acts like a lively, playful gal, and her ideal day would consist of chasing a ball non-stop, with short breaks for naps. Norma LIVES for the ball, and an adopter who wants to play fetch with her at least 4 times a day is required! She is wonderful with people and especially adores young, respectful children. Norma follows them around and enjoys playing ball together. She is very sweet, but she is not a cuddler; she wants to play or be independent. If you're looking for an awesome sidekick who is game for anything, Norma is just what you're looking for! She has a medium energy level and would enjoy going along for the ride, but once inside with a ball, it's game on! Norma has not exhibited any separation anxiety and is non-destructive when left to roam. She is great in the car and loves looking out the window. Norma lives with 3 other large dogs and coexists perfectly, acting as if they aren't there. She would be fine living with another dog, but she does not like super energetic dogs that get in her space. Another laid-back dog would be great, but she would also be perfectly content as a solo dog! Norma is just a wonderful, lively little pup who is looking for a BFF to do life with.
Ideal Home
Norma needs an adopter who is committed to playing fetch with her at least 4 times a day. She adores young, respectful children and would do well in a home with another laid-back dog or as the only pet. She is not a cuddler and prefers playtime or independence.
Ongoing Health
Norma Jeane successfully completed heartworm treatment. She was not able to be spayed prior to treatment, but the rescue will work with the adopter on an appropriate spay date before she leaves.
Training & Support
Norma is not 100% potty trained. She will go outside if the back door is left open, but may have accidents inside if not closely supervised. She is crate trained and never has accidents in her crate.
