Ned

Hi there! I'm Ned, a handsome boy with a coat that looks black but shines a rich brown in the sun, and I've got the cutest white socks to boot! My foster family calls me "Jaws" because I love to show off my teeth and gums when I'm wrestling with my doggy friends – it's just my way of trying to look tough, even though I'm the smallest of the crew! They also call me "Snuffles" because I get to eat my meals from a special mat to help me slow down. Don't let my sometimes grumpy-looking expression fool you; I'm a super happy and incredibly cuddly boy who loves to snuggle any time, anywhere. I came all the way from New Mexico with my siblings, Dusty and Lucky, as part of "The Three Amigos."

Ideal Home

I would do best in a home with another dog who can be my wrestling buddy and snuggle partner. I also love kids and have done great with my 10-year-old human foster sister and her friends. I haven't met a cat yet, but I'd probably try to say hello!

Ongoing Health

I'm a fast drinker, so my water is rationed throughout the day.

Training & Support

I'm a smart cookie! I'm already potty trained and kennel trained, though I'm trustworthy enough to be left out when you're gone. I know "sit," "off," "come," and "wait," and I'm working on "down" and "stay." I'm a bit of a counter surfer, but I'm learning! Training classes sound like a blast, and I think it would be a great way for us to bond. I might bark and jump up a little when meeting new people, but I'm working on showing everyone I'm a good boy!
