Dexter is a sweet fella who needs a chance with a smart owner. He loves his people fiercely but can be wary of strangers at first. With proper introductions, he's a gem! Dexter has learned so much and knows commands like sit, down, wait, out, and play fetch. He also walks nicely on a leash and enjoys playing with other dogs, frisbees, and tennis balls. Dexter loves a good cuddle session! As a Belgian Malinois mix, he requires physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep him satisfied. He may feel the need to protect his person and home from outsiders, so he needs someone to guide and work with him through that. He is a loyal boy who wants to please! We would prefer potential adopters to have experience with Belgian Malinois or Shepherd breeds, but this is not a requirement. Dexter would make an incredibly loyal and loving partner.
