Rooster

Meet Rooster, a funny and energetic little guy estimated to be born on 12/12/2024. He absolutely adores attention and is happy to snuggle on your lap. Rooster gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and also with cats. He's still getting the hang of leash walking, and while he tolerates it, it's not his favorite activity. He's making great progress with house training, though occasional accidents still happen. We're diligently working on it, and he wears a belly band indoors for now, which has been effective. Rooster is a truly great dog ready for his forever home.

Rooster would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of love and attention.

Ongoing Health

Rooster has a cherry eye and an ulcer that are currently being treated and will be fully resolved by the rescue before he goes to his new home. He is neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Rooster is still learning to be fully house-trained, and occasional accidents may occur. We are actively working on this with him, and he is currently using a belly band indoors, which has been successful.
