Molly is a 3-year-old, 38 lb. pittie mix with a confident and goofy personality! She's a squeaker enthusiast who believes squeaky toys are the most important invention ever. Molly is treat-motivated and knows the basics of leash walking, though she can be a bit distractible due to all the exciting smells and sights. She's good with other dogs and has lived harmoniously with a female dog and a pug mix, accepting their corrections calmly. She'd do best with a confident, well-balanced dog who can help her understand she doesn't need to be in charge. Molly loves affection and will happily join in if other dogs are getting attention. She's a wiggly girl looking for love and enjoys playing with toys, often entertaining herself. Molly will need a cat-free home and isn't suited for tiny dogs, as she might mistake them for a squeaky toy.
Ideal Home
Molly would thrive in a home with a confident adopter who appreciates her spunky personality and enjoys training. A yard for her to burn off energy would be ideal, though she may adapt to other living situations with continued exercise and leash practice. She needs a cat-free home and is not a good match for very small dogs.
Ongoing Health
Molly is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP vaccinations with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworm and treated if necessary.
Training & Support
Molly is treat-motivated, which will be a great asset in her ongoing training. She is learning leash manners and with continued practice, her distractibility should improve.

Transporation
Molly is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. This system includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). There is an $87 surcharge for transportation.
