About Dahlia Daisy Flower the MINI Lab

Dahlia Daisy Flower is a delightful 10-month-old "itty bitty labbie pittie" who is as delicate and beautiful as her namesake flower. Weighing in at about 35 pounds, she's expected to reach a maximum of 40-45 pounds. Dahlia is a sweet and loving pup who adores adventures, whether it's a brisk walk on a trail, a dip in a creek, or a camping trip. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys playing with pine cones and carrying sticks. While she can be a bit shy with new people, she warms up quickly and is incredibly affectionate. She's a fantastic copilot in the car, settling down for the ride. Dahlia is a well-behaved girl who is crate and house-trained, and she thrives on companionship, especially from other dogs.

Ideal Home

Dahlia would be happiest in a home with another playful dog, or with opportunities for regular doggy daycare, as she truly loves canine companionship. She would likely do well with respectful children aged 8 and up who will engage in play with her. Homes with shared walls should be aware that she may cry in her crate initially when left alone, though she does settle. She can adapt to apartment living provided she receives ample exercise.

Ongoing Health

Dahlia is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccinations, Bordetella, Rabies, multiple deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. She has also been heartworm tested.

Training & Support

Dahlia is house and crate-trained. She may cry in her crate when first left alone, but she does eventually settle. This may need to be re-established in her new home. She is a young pup and benefits from at least two walks per day to manage her energy.
