John is a 9-month-old, male, large breed mix who is sweet, gentle, and curious about the world. Despite a rough start in life, having been abandoned with his nine siblings in a heartbreaking state of neglect, John has maintained a loving and trusting heart. He is playful and engaging without being overbearing, preferring to observe and then join in when he feels comfortable. John enjoys the company of people and other dogs, possessing a soft, easygoing presence that makes him a joy to be around. His beautiful yellow/tan and white coloring, soft coat, and striking light-colored eyes make him a real head-turner. John is ready to find a safe, loving family who will cherish him forever.

John thrives in a home where he can continue to build trust and connection. He enjoys the company of other dogs.

Ongoing Health

John has been age-appropriately vetted, including being spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for internal parasites. He is also on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
