Mindy

Mindy is a sweet young lady who endured a long seven months at a local shelter before finding her way to foster care. Initially, she was responsive to volunteers, but sadly, the shelter environment became overwhelming, and she began to withdraw. Loud noises on walks would terrify her to the point of not wanting to move.

In her foster home, Mindy is showing improvement but still has a sensitivity to loud noises. She's currently coexisting with a cat and a dog, and generally does well with them. However, to ensure her continued comfort and confidence, we recommend a home without small children. It might also be best for Mindy to be the only dog, allowing her to fully decompress and let her loving personality shine through. She needs a patient and loving forever home to help her heal and thrive.
