Lobo- Will anyone choose an older guy like me

Hi. I'm Lobo.

I'm 8 years old, about 60 pounds, and I've spent most of my life learning not to expect much from people.

Somewhere along the way, I got heartworms. My skin was neglected too. But thanks to Rescue Coop, I'm getting treatment, my coat is filling back in, and every day I look a little more like the dog I was always supposed to be. I still have a lot of life left in me!

I still wag my tail when someone reaches for my leash because I love going for walks. I tested great with other dogs and even cats. I'm gentle, sweet, and happiest just being near someone.

I know puppies usually get all the attention. I know my gray face and my age make people scroll past me.

But I still look at every person the same way...

Could you be the one to pick me?

I just need someone who will look at me and see that there's still so much life, love, and loyalty left in this old soul.

I've been let down enough for one lifetime.

Maybe my next chapter could finally be the one where someone chooses me... and never lets me go.

Rescue Coop is a registered 501c that saves dogs from imminent euthanasia and at risk situations and transports them directly to approved adopters nationwide. We are located in SC but in three years, we have placed 550 dogs in 28 states. We post our dogs in the areas we regularly transport to. Our adoption fee is $250 with no additional transport charges. Unfortunately we are unable to do meet and greets but our adoption coordinators strive to make excellent matches.
