Dodger

Dodger is a handsome young boy who came to us as a stray. He was found with two large chain collars embedded in his neck, suggesting he may have been an outside dog for some time. Despite his rough start, Dodger is incredibly friendly and has charmed everyone he's met, from children of all ages to other calm, friendly dogs. He absolutely adores belly rubs and chasing tennis balls, and he's even a good sport when it comes to dressing up!

Ideal Home

Dodger would thrive in a home where he won't be left alone for long periods. He would do best with a family where someone is home often, or with another playful canine companion to keep him company. He tends to chase cats, so a cat-free home is a must. Dodger can also climb fences, so he'll need to be walked on a leash or closely supervised when outside.

Ongoing Health

Dodger is a survivor and is now ready for a fresh start. He has no known ongoing health concerns at this time.

Training & Support

Dodger is not yet house-trained and will need continued reinforcement in this area. Due to his fence-climbing ability and tendency to chase, consistent leash walks and supervised outdoor time are essential. With patience and positive reinforcement, Dodger will undoubtedly continue to blossom.
