Meet PICKLES! A rescue FAVORITE!

Sweet Pickles is a must-meet! He will immediately charm you with his loving and goofy personality. If that doesn't do it, his adorable "waddle walk" will! He loves people and playtime with his dog friends here at the sanctuary. Pickles enjoys splashing through the creek and playing with his toys, which can be whatever he finds.

Pickles is still very young - born in September 2025, so he still has a lot to learn about the world in general. He is smart and playful but hasn't had a chance to see much of the world quite yet.

Ideal Home

Pickles is looking for someone who is patient and will gently and confidently reassure him when he gets a little scared of new things. We are envisioning a home for Pickles where he can thrive and will be a beloved member of the family. Prospective adopters should be prepared to show the patience and commitment to helping him develop lifelong habits in a safe, loving, and positive environment.

Ongoing Health

All our dogs are altered (spayed/neutered), vaccinated, and microchipped before going home with their new families.

Training & Support

Car rides are still a little scary at first, but when he is with a person, he quickly decides things are probably ok - and he will proceed to lean on you velcro style. Pickles is a laid-back guy and after a little hike or playtime, he is usually ready to chill and will stretch out on his dog pillow (or, your pillow if you are willing!).
