Thumper

Hi! I'm Thumper. I am estimated to be two years old and am a Terrier mix, weighing in at 6.5lbs. The rescue was told I might be a Yorkie mix but we really don't know. When I run and play I bounce like a baby rabbit, so foster mommy named me Thumper! I am such a happy, sweet, silly boy. I am so in love with humans and being near my foster mommy! I would love a person who is home with me a lot or takes me places with them. I go to work with foster mommy every day in the office and I love it! I can say hi to all the people. I'm pretty perfect if I do say so myself!

Ideal Home

I walk well on a leash and ride well in the car. I do require a physically fenced yard because I LOVE being outside. I just lay and sun tan, I roll in the grass, and I get my zoomies out when I'm outside. No kiddos for me please, they are too scary. I do need another playful small dog in my new home to continue teaching me all about the spoiled house doggy lifestyle.

Ongoing Health

I am neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, current on heartworm preventative, and current on flea/tick preventative. When I came to the rescue my skin and coat was matted and absolutely filthy. I love being a clean boy and being able to move without pain. I do require regular grooming.

Training & Support

I am potty trained and need to be kept on a schedule while I continue learning. I am crate trained too. I like cats.

Transporation

Willow Haven Animal Sanctuary is a foster-based rescue and does not have a physical building you can visit. If you are interested in meeting Thumper, please complete an adoption application. We schedule private meet-and-greet appointments with approved adopters only.
