Champs is a handsome 6-year-old, 60-pound bundle of joy who is ready to leave his past behind and find his forever family. He's a big, strong, loyal boy who has overcome immense challenges. Rescued from a life of neglect where he was chained and suffering from an embedded collar, Champs amazed everyone with his continued friendly nature towards people and other dogs. Today, he's a happy, goofy, and affectionate companion who thrives on human interaction. He's a smart and eager-to-please dog who graduated from our Canine Good Citizen program and loves having a purpose. Champs enjoys car rides and adventures, always wanting to be part of his family's activities. He gets along well with other dogs, but proper introductions are key due to his enthusiastic greeting style. We are unsure how he would fare with cats. Because he sometimes forgets his size and can be strong on leash, we recommend a home with older children who won't be overwhelmed by his exuberance. Champs has spent far too long waiting in boarding, and he truly deserves a loving home where he can finally relax on a couch. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption.
