Meet Arthur! Arthur is a 5-year-old, 78-pound neutered Staffordshire Terrier/Retriever mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This handsome boy is the perfect combination of playful adventure buddy and affectionate cuddle companion. He was found roaming around a park and eventually brought to a county shelter before a foster opened their home to him. Arthur loves life and approaches every day with enthusiasm. He's a moderate energy guy who enjoys playtime, exploring, and spending time with his people. He is outgoing, playful, curious, affectionate, and incredibly sweet. He enjoys toys, loves spending time with his people, and is always happy to soak up attention and affection. He thinks if he can fit, he can sit! Arthur may pull at first out on a walk, but he settles into the routine and does well. He absolutely LOVES car rides!
Ideal Home
Arthur would thrive in a home that provides regular exercise, structure, and plenty of opportunities to be part of the family. While he doesn't need another dog to be happy, he would do well with people who enjoy including their dog in everyday adventures. His energetic nature means he could accidentally knock over a small child during play, so a family that understands this and can provide appropriate outlets for his enthusiasm is recommended.
Ongoing Health
Arthur is a neutered male and is up to date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Arthur is fully house-trained and crate-trained. He settles nicely in his crate and has comfortably stayed crated for longer periods.
