Meet Copper! This sweet, smart, and incredibly willing-to-please 4-year-old neutered boy is ready for his forever home. Copper is a fantastic traveler, always eager to join in on new adventures. He knows many commands, is house and crate trained, and absolutely loves to snuggle. He's a quick learner, picking up our in-ground fencing in just 48 hours, and has found his rhythm with our routine and family chaos. Copper was the star of a recent graduation party, happily soaking up all the attention and pets. He's up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Ideal Home

Copper would do well with a family that has the time and patience to reinforce his training and help him build his social skills. He is nervous about meeting new dogs, but with continued exposure, he's learning play etiquette. A securely fenced yard is a must for Copper. Due to being transplanted once, long-distance or sight-unseen adoptions will not be considered.

Ongoing Health

Copper recently received a clean bill of health from the vet and is on preventative care.

Training & Support

Copper is generally obedient and house/crate trained. He's still working on his social skills with new dogs and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement and guidance.
