Brody

Hi there! My name is Brody, and I'm a handsome, approximately one-year-old deaf Pit Bull mix. I arrived at Hi Tor after being found as a stray in March 2021. Sadly, my previous family didn't want me, but I'm hopeful that my forever family is out there, just waiting to meet me! I've got a fantastic personality and my little butt wiggles with excitement when I'm happy – you'll love it! I can be a little shy with new people and sometimes experience stranger danger anxiety, so I'm looking for someone with experience with dogs, and even better if you have experience with deaf dogs! I'll need a few meet-and-greets before I can go home with you. While I've lived with children and other dogs before, the staff here thinks I'd be happiest in a home without them. I also need a home without cats.

Ideal Home

A home with experienced dog owners, ideally with experience caring for deaf dogs. A quiet home environment without other dogs or children would be best. No cats, please!

Ongoing Health

I am a deaf dog, which is something to be aware of in my care.

Training & Support

I can experience stranger danger anxiety. I will need patient introductions and ongoing positive reinforcement.
