Atticus

Atticus is a handsome boy who was initially a bit nervous in his kennel. He tends to bark when he's feeling unsure, but he's a real sweetheart once he gets to know you. We recommend asking to meet him in the yard so he can show you his true, snuggling nature – he truly believes he's a lap dog! Atticus knows how to "sit," walks nicely on a leash, and is a great passenger in the car. He's also house- and crate-trained, though he may whine a bit when first crated before settling down. Atticus loves being with his people, enjoys treats and soft toys, and is friendly with other dogs. He's happy to wrestle with some pups and just chill with others. His interactions with cats and children are currently unknown, but we do recommend slow introductions to new things and people at his pace. Atticus is neutered and ready to find his forever home!

Ideal Home

Atticus would love a home where he can be close to his people. His known interactions with other dogs suggest he'd likely do well in a multi-dog household, but his compatibility with cats and children is unknown.

Training & Support

Atticus knows "sit," is house-trained, and crate-trained (though he may whine initially when crated). He walks well on a leash and rides well in a car. We recommend slow introductions to new people, places, and situations to help him build confidence.
