Sadey is a sweet, caramel-swirled girl who walks around like a warm hug with legs. Her name, S-A-D-E-Y, even has a little extra sparkle! She has soft, floppy ears and a smile so sweet it could power a small town. When Sadey loves you, she offers a full-body lean that melts into a dramatic flop onto your feet, inviting belly rubs and unlimited kisses. She's unfamiliar with the concept of personal space. We believe Sadey is a Lab/Golden Retriever mix, weighing 58 lbs and is about 2 years old. She's past the crazy puppy stage and is the perfect age for exploring and fun, balanced with plenty of nap time on the couch! Sadey greets everyone like she's been waiting her whole life to meet them, warming up instantly and showering them with affection. The term "stranger danger" doesn't exist in her vocabulary; she approaches everyone with an "I love you already!!!" energy in a polite, wiggly package.
Ideal Home
Sadey would thrive with a semi-active family in a home with a backyard. She would also love a pool or water nearby, as she enjoys splashing around. She'll do well with a friendly canine sibling or as an adored only child. She is also cat-friendly and gentle with older children. We can test Sadey with younger children or other pets if needed.

Sadey is up to date on all vetting, including spay/neuter, vaccinations, and microchip.
Training & Support
Sadey occasionally pulls on the leash out of excitement and will show off her voice when she sees friendly faces or other dogs. With consistent, structured walks and gentle correction, she will learn that this is not a lady-like behavior. She thrives with structure and will do best with an adopter who has some experience and can provide her with the guidance she needs.

Sadey is located in Texas. We offer nationwide transport with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A surcharge of $87 applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
