Levy

Meet Levy, a sweet female adult pit bull terrier mix who came to us when her owner sadly passed away. Levy was quite timid and under-socialized, and it has taken time for her to learn to trust. Our dedicated team spends time with her daily, offering gentle "working" sessions with treats and pets to help build her confidence.

Levy loves going for walks and exploring with our crew, though she is always double-leashed for her security as she can be easily startled by passing cars and bikes. She is still learning to come when called, so she is always kept on a leash for her safety. Levy has made incredible progress, especially when introduced to puppy fosters, and has always been comfortable around adult fosters. She truly deserves a loving forever home where she can continue to blossom and learn what trust and love feel like.

Ideal Home

Levy would thrive in a home with an owner who has a lot of patience and understanding. She is not a lap dog, but she is gradually learning to accept and enjoy a few pets. A canine companion is a must for Levy, as she has shown great improvement and comfort when another dog is present.

Ongoing Health

Levy is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Levy is still working on her recall and can be easily spooked by sudden movements or loud noises like cars and bikes. Consistent positive reinforcement and continued socialization with other dogs will be key to her ongoing success and happiness.
