Hi, I'm Misty Mae! I'm a sweet Retriever, Spaniel, and Carolina Dog mix, about 10 months old and weighing 38lbs. I was rescued from a gas station and given a second chance at life. My foster family says I have a gentle soul and a heart full of love. I'm a wonderful house guest, already housebroken and kennel trained, and I love a good routine. I'm also quite smart and food-motivated, so I'm always eager to learn new things. My favorite thing is being by your side, whether we're out and about or just relaxing at home. I have a playful side, but I'm just as happy to soak up affection and enjoy a quiet evening. When I first arrived in foster care, I was a little unsure, but with patience and love, I've been gaining confidence every day and discovering how wonderful life can be!

Ideal Home

I get along well with small dogs and appreciate slow introductions when meeting new canine friends. Larger dogs can sometimes feel a little overwhelming for me, so I'd love a family that understands and can help me feel comfortable. I'm looking for a forever home where I can continue to blossom, feel loved, and spend the rest of my days making my family smile.
