Shaggy

Meet Shaggy! This sweet, playful boy came to us with Paloma and Scooby after their owner in San José sadly passed away. Losing his person and his home was a big change, and Shaggy is understandably cautious as he learns to trust again. He's a medium-sized, neutered fellow with a thick coat, which means he needs a cooler environment – Mexico is just too warm for this handsome pup! Shaggy is ready for a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and heal from his loss.

Ideal Home

Shaggy needs a calm and loving environment to help him heal. He requires a cooler climate, so warmer locations like Mexico are not suitable for him.

Training & Support

Shaggy is cautious and needs gentle encouragement to build trust. He is looking for someone to show him he is safe.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Approved adopters are matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta.
• During the summer months, if a Canadian flight companion is unavailable, dogs may fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border.

Transporation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Transport to the US and Canada is available via flight companions.
