Rowlf

Rowlf is a handsome senior male Pit Bull Terrier mix who came to us as a stray from the city shelter, initially listed as rescue-only for medical reasons. After a vet visit, it was discovered he has luxating patella in both knees, which has caused compensatory issues with his hips. He also tested positive for heartworm. Rowlf has since undergone surgeries for his hips and knees, and has completed his heartworm treatment. Despite his medical journey, Rowlf has been nothing short of AMAZING in foster care! He is incredibly well-mannered, loving, and a true sweetheart. We truly feel lucky to have him and believe he might just be the perfect dog!

Ideal Home

Rowlf is dog selective and prefers to be the only dog in the home, or to live with a dog of a different color.

Ongoing Health

Rowlf has luxating patella in both knees and has had surgeries to address this and related hip issues. He has also completed heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

Rowlf is a very well-mannered boy and has been a delight in foster care.
