Meet Ryder! This sweet, affectionate Australian Cattle Dog Mix is ready to become your most loyal companion. At 3 years old and weighing 65 lbs, Ryder has a gentle soul and has been blossoming in his foster home. He's learning that the world is a safe place and is building confidence every day. While Ryder can be a bit cautious around new people and might get nervous if someone enters the home unexpectedly or when his foster dad comes home late, these reactions stem from nervousness. Once he feels safe, he quickly shows his friendly and loving nature. He's formed a strong bond with his foster family, enjoying staying close and keeping an eye on the household. As his confidence grows, his playful side is really starting to shine!

Training & Support

Ryder is house-trained and crate-trained (he may need a little encouragement to enter his crate at first, but settles well once inside). He's excellent with food and treats, sleeps through the night in his crate, and walks beautifully on leash. He has a medium energy level with a calm presence in the home and is very food motivated, making him eager to learn.
